Open Night At Hauz Khaz Village

hello hello hello hello ! :D
i am so excited to tell you what an amazing, lively, trendy and stylish sunday it was at Hauz khaz village !
Hauz khaz village is a hub for designers to retail, sell and start their own stores from and even thought majority is Indian wear don't be fooled by it because every different corner to every different floor of every building available in Hauz khaz village has something new to offer to you and you would be surprised what you found from that one mistaken left turn.
Hauz khaz has art galleries to swim wear to traditional wear to modern wear to vintage jewelery to colleges situated in that tiny closed village.
Any how so during the holdiays and the wedding seasons hauz khaz village would people going and out but last night was record breaking because all the stores open last night saw a rush of crowd that they hadn't seen in the longest time or ever !
So and so the oldest panwari was rather surprised looking at the result of my special boys prediction " Bhai aaj dekhna bahut bheer aaegi ."
And boy was he right and oh boy how shocked the panwari guy was !
So it was freaking lively every where.. like every store had tried some thing different to invite the people walking around the roads to be curious enough to step inside grab a drinka nd move on or buy something !
we were nt far behind from any of this, during our previews we started to put up a projector show casing our latest show at the lastest fashion week of the collection that we are holding the previw for.

So we decided to put a cloth on our huge wale window where the ramp walk was happening and you had like a movie screen visible not only to us from the inside of the store but outside as well for people to see and be curious to come up and check the place out and see what all is there to offer.. and being on the second floor has its own goodie bags :D... so my lane was filled with people moving to an fro with drinks smokes in there hands ,..every one is so chilled out and dressed to ease to dressed to impress to dressed to dance.

Then as you move further inside the lane we had O layla ka thela ! where every thing was costing from rs 500 only :)
and if you went side the store you had more other goodies for more money but that lady ( nidhi from olayla) decorated her lane like there is not tomorrow..  while there was a opening at white with alcohol and goodies flowing in and out people seem to be having a great freaking time...
There were colourfull star lanters every where in the lane and so much of caos and light and noise and shopping. It looked beautiful ! further you went ahead there were candles lit , there was magic shows happening inside other stores , there was music , there were people who seem to enjoy the  uneven roads , uneven turns , absurd shops , absurd ambiance , wicked placements , assorted crowd !

The best was that particular day there happen to be a lot foreign crowd and fifteen of em came up to the store and i had to tel them you are so lucky that you found me here and other stores open because hauz khaz village is always shut on Sundays and i introduced them to the scene of open Sundays and they couldn't be any happier :).

People were getting their freak on with livin room cafe to flipsyde to the panwari  !

oh boy lastnight was insane !

And this oscar in making was running around in her big black heels with her special boy buying jute goodies in her tri colored silk shirt with a lovely Swarovski embellished Shivan and Narresh  sky blue cuff with my vintage silver pearl( 2 stoned ring) with smoked cheese flavour in my mouth to the wiff of chocolate cookies and wine in the air and the star light , yellow surrounding us even at night.. Oh what an OPEN FUCKING NIGHT !
